3. Text message (SMS) notifications

If you opt in, we will send you text messages about your scheduled job.

Consent. We send SMS notifications only to customers who have affirmatively opted in, by checking the SMS consent box on our scheduling request form. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing or receiving any of our services. You can schedule a job without opting in.

What we send. Transactional messages about an active job only. This includes appointment reminders, arrival windows, building access instructions, and notice of a schedule change. We do not send marketing or promotional messages on this program.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies. Typically you will receive one to three messages per scheduled job.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. These are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (512) 549-2630 or scheduling@urbanspacelogistics.com.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We share information only as described here:

  • Service providers. Companies that perform functions on our behalf, such as warehouse and inventory management, accounting and invoicing, email and text message delivery, website hosting, and analytics. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us.
  • Building and property management. When a job requires it, we share the job contact name, phone number, service address, and scheduled time with building staff or property management in order to reserve freight elevators, loading docks, and parking, and to provide certificates of insurance.
  • Affiliated Urbanspace companies. Where a job originates with or is coordinated by an affiliated Urbanspace company, we share job information with that company as needed to complete the work.
  • Crew and contractors. Our crews and any subcontracted labor receive the job details necessary to perform the job.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

As stated in Section 3, mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are excluded from all sharing except with the providers that deliver our messages.

5. Data retention

We keep job records, including warehouse receipts and delivery documentation, for as long as needed to provide our services, resolve disputes, and satisfy our legal, tax, insurance, and accounting obligations. Inquiry and estimate information that does not become a job is kept only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable follow up.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

  • Text messages. Reply STOP to any message, at any time.
  • Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any non-transactional email, or contact us. Note that we will still send operational email about an active job.
